As 2012 winds down and awards season begins, the year’s trends in film making are now fully coming to light. It seems, this year Hollywood shining on a grayer audience than in years past.
Following the success of films geared toward older audiences like “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” and “Hope Springs,” and the announcement of the 2013 Golden Globe Nominees—including Helen Mirren, Richard Gere, Denzel Washington, Bill Murray and Judi Dench—it seems this year was hot for both older movie goers and movie makers.
To celebrate this trend, AARP announces its annual year-end Top Ten Movies For Grownups list.
