Produced by Lars Von Trier’s production company, Zentropa, KLOWN follows two wildly inappropriate friends — played by celebrated international comedians Frank Hvam and Casper Christensen — as they run amok through the Danish countryside. Frank and Casper plan to canoe down the Danish countryside on a testosterone driven weekend in search of women, debauchery, and more women. However, their adulterous adventure is hampered when Frank’s girlfriend reveals she is pregnant and believes he is not suited to be a father. Determined to prove her wrong, Frank kidnaps his 12-year-old nephew to exemplify his readiness for fatherhood. Yet Casper will not let their highly anticipated weekend be ruined by a child, forcing Frank to take Bo along for the wildly inappropriate ride.
