The Spy Next Door Final Poster

Here is the final poster for Lionsgate upcoming film THE SPY NEXT DOOR opening in theaters January 15 , 2010. The film is directed by Brian Levant. The cast includes Jackie Chan, Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez

Lionsgate and Relativity Media’s family action comedy THE SPY NEXT DOOR stars Jackie Chan as Bob Ho, an undercover CIA superspy who decides to give up his career in espionage to settle down with his next-door neighbor and girlfriend, Gillian (Amber Valletta). But Bob has one more mission to complete before Gillian agrees to marry him: winning over her three opinionated kids.
When Gillian suddenly has to leave town, Bob volunteers to babysit the children so he can earn their approval. But when one of the kids mistakenly downloads a top-secret formula from his computer, Bob’s archenemy, a Russian terrorist, moves in for the attack, forcing Bob to juggle the roles of spy and prospective stepfather in the most challenging mission of his career!

USTREAM and IFP Partner On First-Ever Live Webcast Of The Gotham Independent Film Awards

The Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), the nation’s oldest and largest organization of independent filmmakers, announced today a partnership with Ustream.com to present a live webcast of the 19th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards™. The awards show will be streamed live in its entirety to a global audience on Ustream at http://www.ustream.tv/gothamawards2009.

Signaling the official kick-off to the film awards season, IFP’s 19th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards™ ceremony is being held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday November 30th at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT. Gotham Award nominations in six competitive awards categories will be given out including Best Feature, Best Documentary, Breakthrough Director, Breakthrough Actor, Best Ensemble Performance and Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You. In addition to the competitive awards, director Kathryn Bigelow, actors Natalie Portman and Stanley Tucci, and producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, will each be presented with a career tribute. The awards show will be hosted by comedian Kumail Najiani.

In addition to being available on the web, fans can also watch and interact using Ustream’s iPhone Viewing Application or the Ustream Android Viewer, released last week. Both are free applications that enable viewing any Ustream stream, including the Gothams, on 3G or Wifi from the iPhone and Android mobile devices. Paranormal Activity DVD and Blu-ray Release Date
