Family. What exactly does that mean to you? A Dad, Mom, some kids maybe? If you are a fan of the Ice Age movies, then you know that a family is much more than just that. Manny, Ellie, Sid and Diego are back, but this time things are much more settled, or at least that’s what one would think. Manny (Ray Romano) and Ellie (Queen Latifah) are expecting their first bundle of joy and the preparations don’t always seem to include everyone. Manny is the ever nervous expectant Dad while Ellie is the picture of calm. In each of the two previous installments there seemed to be a migration towards a different era. In the first one they were preparing themselves for the ice age and on route, came across one another. In part two, the ice begins to melt and their migration takes them to a land closer to the climate they are accustomed to and pleasantly Manny finds love with the large yet lovely Ellie.
